The IWAP program while focusing on Illinois veterans, also emphasizes confidential assistance, referrals and counseling services to eligible family members. The free legal and financial consultation can help a veterans' family navigate the return to civilian life.

The services that IJF provides for service members in transition, are also offered to their families.

For Family:
Road Home Program for Spouses
Couples counseling and couples therapy are offered to veterans and their spouse or partner to rebuild healthy relationships.

The Road Home also offers care and support to other members of the veterans' families, including children, siblings and parents. Family members can receive treatment at the Road Home even if their veterans choose not to get help at this time.
